Since joining the firm in 1997, Deb has acted as the firm’s client and public relations administrator, in addition to managing day-to-day operations in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. Deb is also responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, controlling client inventory, and supervising office staff in their delegation of tasks. She consistently works closely with Howard in the management of the firm’s billing and collection statistics; education of personnel in leadership, organization, and team cohesion; and development of organizational procedures and systems for firm staff in order to promote process improvement; these efforts ultimately lead to a more developed and productive employee and client interaction.
Prior to joining the Virtus Group, Deborah worked in the banking field, spending 7 years as Head Teller prior to her 8-year tenure as an employee in the Processing and Loan Documentation sect of the Mortgage Department. As an extensive traveler, Deborah spends her free time in Aruba and Holland– both of which are like second homes to her– in addition to other tropical islands. However, when she is not catching a flight or roaming abroad, Deborah enjoys spending her time indulging in all things Broadway and New York, in addition to time with her family, her first and foremost priority.
